This company is a joke

This company is a joke. My fiancee was wrongfully terminated for complaining about his coworker and supervisors shorts that were revealing and inappropriately short for work. They sent him home and told HR who didn't bother receiving his side of the story. Although, the discounts were great. I have bought my kids shoes here but I will not support a company that will discriminate against good people and favor whores. We have 3 kids and 1 on the way so for them to do him dirty like this is unacceptable. The situation shouldn't have happened in the first place if people wore professional and respectable clothing for work and not make others around them uncomfortable.

If I could give zero stars I would. While the retail experience is fine and the retail employees nice, their membership program is a deceitful and deceptive scam. Even when they promise to refund your money for their ridiculously overpriced and dishonest membership program, they don't. I finally had to dispute the charges on my credit card.

Do not ever sign up for their VIP…

Do not ever sign up for their VIP membership. I am trying to cancel my membership as I am writing this review and they put me hold for 40 minutes so far. How long does it take to cancel the membership? Are they waiting for me to hang up? It seems that way. WOW THEY JUST HUNG UP ON ME! UNBELIEVABLE!

Used to be amazing

I have been a member since 1998 and keep thinking it will improve and be what it once was. Excellent customer service, a website that actually works properly as far as having the VIP membership, etc. I am giving them one more go but after this I will shop around as I don't feel they give the "best" prices anymore that make it worth my while trying to maintain my long time customer loyalty. It's a shame really :(

North Brunswick NJ shop has very poor…

North Brunswick NJ shop has very poor service. We came for several years, have VIP membership, and we pay extra because we always felt they were advising each of our kids based on their runner’s profile and their stride.
NO MORE.

Now they expect you to pick up your own shoes and pay. For that, I can go to Famous Footwear and pay 15% less.

Totally disappointed…

I have to say I am totally disappointed in Roadrunner Sports. Janis was a big disappointment as well since she did all the talking and did not listen and frankly gave me lip service. Roadrunner Sports was once a great company, but now your customer service is terrible! In fact one might say doing business with Roadrunner Sports is a complete JOKE! I am going to return one of the mens Desoto shorts I purchased and will keep one pair only because I wore them. I hope you figure out how screwed up your company is because you all need lots of help! Definitely not ever going to order from you again!!!! BTW it took you a week to answer my customer service email and I called twice, only to learn you never processed my online order for which I got a receipt and shipping notices! Janis needs to be trained in listening to the customer and not giving BS answers. You lost a customer and probably quite a few others!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a pair of Sauconys. Wore them only in the house a handful of times and returned them to the site well within the eligible time frame. They were sent back to me, and I was denied my refund.

Hot Mess

Ordered same size/model Solomon trail shoe (for years on Amazon), did the VIP program which appears to get a small discount. The shoes seem like knock offs, not the same fit at all, they actually slipped in heel/ankle. I walked around briefly, and put them back in box. When I tried to arrange an exchange I got interrogated about "if they were worn" I said no, and more yammering. The several individuals I spoke with at separate times like to hear themselves, and not listen, or bother to ask or offer anything helpful. I wanted to get shoe information as to exchange, but they want you off the line. I never saw a label amongst the many email promotions, so after summer travel I contacted to get a label sent to me, I live in a rural area, no UPS store within 25 miles. I also wrote email request. The rep said no to the label, said she'd send a label that UPS could print out. I saw the label later on same email as all the others, including tracking info for the new pair I foolishly bought. A week later the emailed label was gone, I searched everything, it was simply not there. Contacted customer service and got more argument, yammering and basically called an idiot, for not being able to find and carry out the exchange. I had to listen to a stammering, unhelpful, rude and the last person who should work with customers. A label had been sent months earlier to a different address--how would I know? It wasn't the point anyway. I asked for a label be sent me, politely twice, and get something else, and even that was a failure. All you get is seriously poor service, and NO solution, even though I bought another pair. Ladies, if you want to talk with a disrespectful demeaning and incompetent jerk, Roadrunner is your store. Don't forget about knock off shoes as well, and the opt-out only "membership trap.

It's not a scam, everything can be avoided if you read!

All the complaints can be avoided if people just read things. People can't just sign you up for a membership, there's so much that goes into that. I think people just forget and want to complain. It's clearly stated the membership automatically renews and I've had reps state that and show it multiple times. You have to sign a terms & conditions to even join the membership, I did! They even state the membership cost can change at any time. They never charge until shoes get shipped and it's really on the bank for holding an authorization so long. There are so many delays in shipping & products these days so it's not really on them, I bet they do their best. I get they send many emails, mainly advertisement, but I always received every single update on my order, when my renewal is, etc. I think the people complaining don't want to admit they just simply forgot about the charge? Or it's a possibility people miss the email stating an order change, etc. It's up to people to READ!! Every complaint I've read can be avoided. I love this company and their customer service. I like that it's more personal and they genuinely seem like they want to help. Yes the wait times can be astronomical but what company doesn't have long wait times in the state of things these days. I will continue to shop and support and everyone has a different experience, I just hope yours is a good one.
